Lucky has been reunited!
Thank you to Garrido Stray Rescue Foundation for requesting help from Microchip Hunters! Microchip Hunters found a name attached to the phone number on the dog's tag. Thankfully Lucky had his last name on the tag to help narrow down the list of possible owners to the number. His family was looking for him all day Sunday! "He is from Kentucky and is unfamiliar with the neighborhood. He went missing this past Saturday and was saved by our Court Advocates, Marjorie and Joyce. He had a collar with a name tag, but the phone number was unfortunately invalid. After contacting Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Hunters for help, we were able to reunite this pup today. His mom left on Sunday for Kentucky, so grandma picked him up. Lucky lived up to his name. Happy reunion! "

Phish Stixx is home after missing a year! This cat was found in #Jacksonville Florida, and the microchip led to an outdated phone number. Thank you to the finder, who took him in, got him scanned for a microchip, and submitted to Microchip Hunters for help! Microchip Hunter Volunteer, Weslee reached the family via a current number found! "She wants a picture of the cat to make sure. She says she lost the cat a while ago and have given up hope they would find it." A picture was sent, and a little girl was jumping up and down when she saw it! "She said it is him!" Arrangements to pick up were made between the finder and owner, and a happy reunion was made! Thank you for doing the right thing and getting Phish Stixx home after a year! His family was missing him!!! Lost Dogs Illinois #MicrochipHunters www.microchiphelp.com |
